Richard Mille RM 032 Automatic Chronograph Dive Replica Watch Review

Among other things, Richard Mille Replica gets an award for having some of the longest technical spec sheets out there. I wouldn’t normally do this, but below you can read the entire thing – it is like an RM 032 bible! Brand spanking new is this new RM 032 Automatic Chronograph Diver’s watch that sits between the RM 025 and the RM 028 Divers that share the round case style. From a price and function perspective the RM 032 sits in the middle and is a great new temptation from the brand.

Available in either titanium, 18k white gold, or in 18k red gold, the RM 032 case is large at 50mm wide and a hefty 17.80mm thick. Though I feel that the titanium model won’t be too heavy. The large sporty chronograph pushers as new, and so is the movement which is the RMAC2 automatic. This is in interesting movement because of the features that it combines. It is more than just an automatic chronograph with a few other neat features. First is the chronograph itself which is unique. It usually centrally mounted hands for the minutes and seconds, and is a flyback chronograph. There is a subsidiary dial for the chronograph hours.

The watch also has an annual calendar – so the month and a big date indicator on found on the dial. If you look closely you can find the month! It is actually between 4 and 5 o’clock. Another feature is a sort of alternative to a subsidiary seconds dial called a “running indicator.” This is basically a stylized subsidiary seconds dial that people design to show movement rather than read the seconds. If you need to measure those then you have the chrono. Here the running indicator has a red and white disc that moves under a few vanes to create a fun display. The idea is that you can look at it to make sure the movement is wound and operating… you know, sorta like a seconds hand.

The dial is very Richard Mille Replica in design, but I appreciate that even on first glance you realize that you haven’t see this one before. There is some interesting bridge work on the skeletonized dial and I like all the colors. Really Richard Mille Replica at their finest. Being a true diver’s watch, the RM 032 is water resistant to 300 meters and has a lockable rotating diver’s bezel. Like the others in this series, you need to press down on the top and bottom of it to turn it. A new feature here for Richard Mille is a Jaeger-LeCoultre-like locking crown guard that you turn to lock the crown into place.

Attached to the RM 032 is a nice rubber strap and an intense amount of bragging rights. This luxo diving chronograph watch will have a starting price of $125,000 (in titanium) and feels worth every penny. Start saving up today.
